"Eye to Eye: Jockey Club Social Documentation Project" is one of the key thematic projects of the "Hong Kong International Photo Festival 2012", funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, and supported by the Art Promotion Office, Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Through a series of photographic workshops, school seminars and open call, we invite people of different backgrounds (including different races, different abilities, new arrivals, professionals and academics etc) to tell their stories through the lens. Those with potential will attend a two-month advanced workshop to hone their photographic skills. The completed works will be presented to the public in a series of roving exhibitions in Hong Kong, together with school guided tours, talks and other supporting events.
